- SR-60 South through Bay City to Matagorda

From San Antonio- I-10 East to SR-71 East/South
- Stay on SR-71 past El Campo
- Look for
FM 1468 15 miles South of El Campo
- Turn left on FM 1468 to Markham
- Turn left
on SR-35 East
- In Bay City, turn right and take SR-60 South to Matagorda.
From Corpus Christi- US-181 towards Portland which becomes SH-35
- Turn right on FM 521 past Palacios
- Turn right on SH-60 South to Matagorda
| From Matagorda City Limits to Matagorda Harbor- As you enter the city of Matagorda, you will see Matagorda Harbor
on the left.
- Turn left into the harbor (CR 255)
Look for the large sign on the left indicating Matagorda Harbor and the Floating Classroom Program. - Go over the levee
- Turn left
- Pass the covered pavilion
- Park the buses where the X is shown on the map of Matagorda Harbor below
