Ocean Technology at Work: Sound/Sonar, Submersibles & Robotics Students will engage in hands-on activities linked to several intriguing facets of physics and engineering at work in the sea. Although these new activities are currently offered to FCP client groups, the accompanying lesson plans and their specific correlation to TEKS are presently being refined. These should be available in the near future.
We have provided the TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills) correlation at the end of each activity above as a guide for your lesson plans. The discovery cruise and shoreside modules may meet additional TEKS that we have not cited. Please if you notice TEKS that should be added to the list. In addition, slight modifications, including extensions to the activities, may address other TEKS. TEKS are provided by the Texas Education Agency.
