Teacher Workshops

The Floating Classroom Program is planning a three-day professional development short course in marine sciences for teachers in June 2010 that will incorporate guided field activities aboard the Karma and hands-on laboratories and demonstrations. Participants will receive take-home teaching kits to help transfer the activities to their classrooms. The Floating Classroom Program is certified to offer Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits.
